Tom Wiens is the owner of Wiens Ranch Company Inc., a family ranch in Sedalia, Colorado, known for its nationally recognized cutting horse program and direct-to-consumer beef business, WR Premium Beef. With a lifelong passion for ranching, Tom has combined a deep respect for the land with visionary leadership, transforming Wiens Ranch into a model of excellence in livestock, land stewardship, and Western heritage.

In addition to his ranching work, Tom has served the state of Colorado as both a State Representative and State Senator, where he championed rural interests and agricultural causes. He holds a bachelor’s degree from American University in Washington, D.C., studied international economics at the University of Graz in Austria, and earned his Master of Divinity from Yale University.

Tom is also a devoted community leader and supporter of agricultural education. He and his wife, Diana, actively support the National FFA Organization, 4-H, and the Douglas County Community Foundation. Through their stewardship, the Wiens Ranch continues to promote excellence in the Western way of life—honoring tradition while investing in future generations.
