Colorado GOP Caucus March 16, 2010Tuesday, March 09, 2010 |
|
One week from today Colorado's Republican voters have the opportunity to demonstrate that the primary process works. That process begins with the humble precinct caucus, where neighbors--not Washington insiders or the Colorado establishment--will gather to elect precinct committeepersons and choose delegates to go on to the county and then state assemblies.
Next Tuesday night, Republicans will also have the chance to indicate their candidate preferences in a non-binding straw poll in the US Senate primary. At a time when being a fiscal conservative should mean more than mouthing words on the campaign stump, only one candidate has stood against the reckless and wasteful spending and burdensome tax increases that have busted the state budget and cost Coloradans jobs.
That candidate is Tom Wiens.
Tom needs your support at the March 16 caucus to carry that fight to the Senate. Please send an email to Marc@tomwiens.com to learn more about how you can get involved in the caucuses one week from today. Click here to find the caucus in your area: http://www.cologop.org/
