Wasteful government spending

Washington politicians and insiders just can't help themselves this year.  In addition to more reckless and dangerous government spending they have approved $200,000 for a tattoo removal program, $1.8 million in swine odor and manure management research, $413,000 for tri-state joint peanut research and $9.4 million for 14 projects for bike paths and trails.  All this spending at a time when we are borrowing money from China to pay for massive new entitlements.  That's why as your next U.S. Senator from Colorado, I'll propose a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution, so that we can force Washington insiders and their lobbyist friends to stop taking your money to put into the pocket of their special interest friends!
